VISUM INFORMATION
Terms of use
These terms explain how to use Visum and what to expect from its place guides.

Who provides Visum
Visum is provided by Joshua Mason, an individual in the United Kingdom. Contact submission@visumapp.uk with questions or complaints. Visum currently provides free place discovery and private saved-place accounts; it does not sell visits or provide a booking service.
Using the guides safely
Place descriptions, maps, coordinates, walking times, access notes and accessibility information are general planning information. They can be incomplete, approximate or out of date. A reviewed entry records an editorial check at a point in time, not a promise that conditions are safe or unchanged. Visum is not a route navigation, emergency or safety service.
•
Before travelling, confirm opening hours, permissions, closures, fees, transport, facilities and accessibility with the landowner, site operator or another current authoritative source.
•
Check weather, daylight, terrain and your own abilities; use suitable equipment and comply with signs, local rules and the law. An arrival point may differ from the place itself. Do not use Visum while driving.
•
For an emergency, use local emergency services. External directions and maps have their own terms and may contain errors.

Accounts and acceptable use
You may browse without an account. To save places or record visits, provide accurate account information, keep your password private and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its security, scrape it at scale, or use it unlawfully. If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian in decisions about accounts and visits.
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, or if these terms are seriously breached. We may change or withdraw features, but will not remove rights you already have under law.
Content and external services
Visum content, design and software are protected by intellectual property rights. You may use the service for personal planning and share links to place pages. Photos, maps and other third-party material remain subject to their owners’ licences and terms; credits and source links appear where relevant. A link or map does not mean Visum controls or endorses an external service.
Responsibility and legal rights
We take reasonable care in providing Visum, but cannot guarantee every fact, route, location, access condition, external service or availability. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by conditions or third-party information outside our control, including wasted travel or booking costs, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you used the service. Nothing here excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that law does not allow us to exclude. Your statutory consumer rights remain in place.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to account holders where practical. If you disagree, you may stop using the service and delete your account. Email submission@visumapp.uk to report an error, unsafe recommendation, rights issue or other concern.
